Love and giggles Emma x The greatest time of the year has come again. The shopping centres have put up their decorations, the stores are playing carols on repeat and Gloria Jeans is serving praline lattes in red christmas cups. Shops can become overwhelming at this time of year and it is always best to go in prepared. My mum does this by having an excel spreadsheet with the names of all the people we're giving gifts to and types up present ideas to print off and take to the shops. The bonus of this is that when next year comes you will never forget what you bought that person = no double ups, it's a win win. With this in mind I have put together a few gift ideas for your friends/family members based on various interests and price ranges. Hopefully this can inspire gift ideas for those people you have no idea what to get. Happy shopping xx Click photo to buy
The time to take out the floral headbands, fascinators, delicate heels and spring dresses has come again. Below are a few outfits I pieced together based on the trends I have seen at this years Derby Day and Caulfield Cup - just in time for last minute Melbourne Cup Day planning. My final tips for styling your race day outfit:
One of my favourite things about Winter is boots and knitted sweaters. I bought this cream diamond cable knit design sweater from a Zara sale in January and had been waiting months and months for it to be cool enough to wear it. The sweater is long enough to be worn with leggings and acts as a mini mini mini dress. i wore it with my full length black Topshop leggings, black ankle boots from Target and my Cedar Street Black Maise Kate Spade handbag. I'm also wearing Ciate London nailpolish in 'Chinchilla' which I fetured in my Winter nail polish post. This look can also be dressed up with a black scarf and coat or with a statement necklace. As seen in my last post i am not an extremely avid with my accessories, however the cream necklace I recently purchased looked stunning against the sweater.
Love and Giggles Emma xxx Lately I have had A LOT of eighteenth birthday parties popping up and very quickly came to the realisation that I am very limited in the area of jewellery. I decided my simple everyday pearl drop earrings and silver Return to Tiffany and Co. bracelet will no longer make the cut and took a trip to my local shopping centre to stock up on some more statement pieces to wear with my very black and plain wardrobe. I picked up the white necklace, earrings and bracelet all from Colette and found the blue necklace on sale in Forever New.
The blue necklace is definitely my favourite find. It has a subtle sparkle in the light and sits on the neck in a very dainty and glamorous way. I'm also considering wearing this with the black lace dress, however it will certainly be an amazing piece with all my black dresses and tops. Click To Buy:

Where to buy:
(In Australia) I purchased the Ciate nail polishes from Mecca Maxima and the Nails Inc from David Jones. Butter London is a bit more difficult to source here, however I have seen small collections on sale at health stores, pharmacies, independent health/beauty stores and hair dressers. This shade of mine was a lucky 'freebie' with an edition of Australian InStyle magazine a year ago. Online: Ciate - London Baby and Chinchilla (purchased in a collection with a red) Ciate - Confess (also purchased as a duo with a soft pink) Nails Inc - Porchester Square Nails Inc - Bruton Street This year I decided to change up my Autumn Winter style. I'm sticking to my usual go-to monochrome with the addition of some prints, patterns and different textures.
